The company was established in Oxford, UK in 1984 as an MBO from the Oxford Instruments Group by Julian Morris. The company initially sold optical motion capture systems under the Vicon brand. In 2001 OMG launched 2d3 Ltd which sells visual geometry products. More recently it has acquired Peak Performance Ltd in Denver and House of Moves in L.A. |
