Having successfully supplied and integrated many traceability solutions to leading automotive global manufacturers whilst Managing Director of a leading industrial marking company, Mark Worlidge left to setup his own business in March 2004. V-viz was formed as a limited company in March 2004 and started trading in July of that year.

V-viz specialise in the design, supply and integration of machine vision and traceability solutions. As the exclusive "value added integrator" of RVSI Acuity CiMatrix V-viz has a broad range of smart camera and PC based vision and 2D Data Matrix products for both low volume and high speed inline applications. In addition to this V-viz has developed its own proprietary range of solutions for demanding OCR/OCV applications. To compliment these products inline V-viz are a certified integrator partner of UGS Tecnomatix and provide MES shop floor traceability using the industry leading XFactory software.

V-viz recognise the importance of being able to recommend the correct technology for the application rather than modifying the hardware to suit the application. Through its network of strategic alliance partners V-viz is not only able to "knit together" technologies but to fulfil the customers wider objectives.

Because vision inspection and traceability reaches across so many diverse applications V-viz is involved in supplying solutions to all industrial sectors including aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, electronics, food & beverage, general engineering, medical device, pharmaceutical, semi-conductor and logistical service industries.

Gauging, in bore porosity flaw detection, surgical instrument inspection and measurement, implant inspection, label presence and skew, presence/absence of parts, print integrity, dimensional accuracy, brand protection and authenticity, point of sale authentication, inline traceability and product genealogy using 2D Data Matrix and RFID technology or UID Data Matrix validation and verification using RVSI's industry leading label and direct part marking compliance checker products.
