Panther Vision was founded in 2008 by Dr John Haddon who has 27 years experience in defence and civilian computer vision. He was awarded a QinetiQ Fellowship in recognition of his technical merit and international contribution to the field and for 7 years was a Visiting Professor at the Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing, University of Surrey.

Panther Vision provides independent consultancy and bespoke product development and is interested in joint development opportunities. It has unique expertise and is able to provide advice on all aspects of computer and machine vision and image analysis for a wide range of imaging modalities and applications. Whatever the imaging problem, we have the expertise to address it.

We have extensive experience in the development of computer vision solutions for demanding defence and civilian applications with particular experience in the infrared. John’s work on image analysis techniques for breast cancer screening has been patented. We are interested in developing practical and robust solutions to real world problems and seeing them turned into products.
