The UKIVA is itself a founder member of the European Machine Vision Association, based in Frankfurt, which brings together both National Vision Associations and individual suppliers doing or wishing to conduct international business.
They hold an Annual Conference: This year it will be held in
Berlin, Germany on 11th and 12th April 2008. |

The UKIVA is a member of the UK Consortium
for Photonics and Optics, www.ukcpo.org
and through them is a member of the Photonics Knowledge Transfer
Network www.photonicsktn.org.
. The UKIVA also is represented on the committee of the Visual
Information Engineering network of the IET (The Institution
of Engineering and Technology). |

Advanced Manufacturing UK
This exhibition will incorporate MEDTEC, Mtec, Machine Building Drives and Automation, VTX (The new name for IPOT), 3C and Practical Vacuum & Semiconductor Processing. It will also launch the UK's first ever Green Manufacturing Exhibition and Conference. This will focus on sustainable manufacturing processes and the introduction of eco-friendly products. Advanced Manufactruing will be held at the NEC, Birmingham on 25 - 26 March 2009. The UKIVA will be running free seminars - more details later on in the year. |

MACH 2008
The UK's premier Manufacturing Technologies Event, held at the NEC Birmingham from 21 - 25 April.
The UKIVA will be presenting FREE seminars on all 5 days under the title "Why machine vision is now mainstream, reliable and cost-effective".
